Preventing oral health problems is the best way to reduce dental costs and keep your smile healthy. Cleanings and checkups are the cornerstones of general dental care when combined with excellent oral hygiene at home. Columbine Creek Dentistry recommends regular cleanings and checkups to keep your smile looking great and to reduce the risk of serious oral health issues.
Your teeth are incredibly strong, withstanding hundreds of pounds of pressure when you chew. They are covered by the toughest element in your body, enamel, to protect them from damage. However, teeth are not completely resistant to damage. Wear and tear or trauma can cause cracked or chipped teeth that need professional repair. When you have tooth damage, come see our experts at Columbine Creek Dentistry for general dental care.
When the structure of a tooth is weakened from decay, damage or dental treatments, it may need protection. Dental crowns can restore damaged teeth, giving them back function and aesthetic appeal. As part of our general dentistry treatments at Columbine Creek Dentistry, we offer beautiful dental crowns and inlays or on-lays for our patients that need cracked or damaged tooth repair.
Caring for your smile also means maintaining excellent gum health. Gum disease is a leading cause of tooth loss and can put you at higher risk for other serious health issues. At Columbine Creek Dentistry, we put emphasis on preventive care to help our patients maintain healthy smiles. When gum disease takes hold, we offer effective treatment to stop the progression of this disease to protect the health and smiles of our patients. Gum or periodontal disease can occur quietly, impacting the health of the gum tissue and bone density in the jaw. Bacteria accumulation can create plaque and tartar that irritates the gum tissues, causing the gums to recede from the roots of the teeth. Pockets can form, creating more places for bacteria to hide, making it more difficult to maintain good oral health. If left untreated, infection of the gums can attack the tissue and bone holding teeth in place, loosening teeth and possibly leading to tooth loss.
Halitosis, or bad breath, is not just embarrassing, it can also be a symptom of oral health issues. If you have been told you have bad breath or you notice people giving you distance in social situations, it may be time to seek general dental treatment. At Columbine Creek Dentistry, we can assist in finding the root cause of bad breath and give you relief from this condition.
Over half of adults over the age of thirty are affected by some level of periodontal disease. Starting slowly with irritation of the gums from bacteria, plaque and tartar, this disease can progress to attack the tissues in the gum and jaw bone. In the later stages of periodontal disease, tooth loss can occur and risk is increased for serious health conditions like stroke and cardiovascular disease. As part of our general dentistry treatments at Columbine Creek Dentistry, we offer periodontal therapy to stop the progression of gum disease and restore oral health.
When the interior of a tooth is damaged, decayed or infected, it can be painful. To save the tooth, root canal therapy is often the only available option. At Columbine Creek Dentistry, we offer root canal therapy as a general dentistry treatment that can relieve the pain and save a severely diseased tooth. Using the latest technology and techniques, we can restore your tooth quickly and virtually painlessly at our office in Littleton.
Not all dental treatments can be planned weeks in advance. When you need same day dental care, call our friendly team at Columbine Creek Dentistry. We offer same day appointments for our patients when they have a dental emergency or an urgent dental issue. Many dental offices require days or weeks of notice to get an appointment for dental care. While we do schedule many appointments in advance at Columbine Creek Dentistry, we also leave room in our schedule to care for unexpected dental needs. We understand life is not always predictable and having a flexible schedule will help our patients when they need us the most. Next time you need to see a dentist right away, call our office. We will always get you in for the next available time slot, often the same day.
Your teeth are an important part of your appearance and overall health. At Columbine Creek Dentistry, we make it a top priority to help our patients retain their natural teeth with general dentistry whenever possible. However, there are circumstances when a tooth must be removed. When an extraction is necessary, we provide a safe, comfortable environment to undergo treatment with as little pain or stress as possible.
A beautiful smile can bolster your self-confidence and help you make a positive first impression. At Columbine Creek Dentistry, we want to give our patients access to the services they need to have a smile they will love. Our cosmetic dentistry services can transform your smile so you can feel confident whenever you flash your pearly whites. Oral health is always a priority when caring for our patients’ smiles, but we also understand that aesthetic elements are important as well. A white, straight smile is equated with beauty, youth and health, making it a desirable asset. If you have dental imperfections you want to fix, we can help.
Start your journey to a straight, beautiful smile with Invisalign clear aligners. Columbine Creek Dentistry offers the Invisalign system as an orthodontic treatment that can straighten your smile without metal braces. Adults and teens love the comfort and discreet appearance of these clear aligners to improve the look and health of their smile.
Time can take its toll on the color of your teeth. Teens and young adults often have bright, white smiles without much effort, but as you get older, your teeth can become dull and stained and require cosmetic dental treatments. Get back a brighter, more youthful smile with professional teeth whitening at Columbine Creek Dentistry. We have whitening options to restore your smile to a bright, healthy glow.
Have you ever wondered how celebrities get such perfect smiles? While some may have great genetics, many others have another secret: porcelain veneers. Hollywood insiders have been using dental veneers for many decades to transform their smiles with the help of cosmetic dentistry. Columbine Creek Dentistry can help you get a Hollywood smile right here in Littleton.
Missing teeth can make you feel self-conscious about your smile and limit the function of your teeth. Why not close those gaps in your smile with the help of a dental bridge? You can have a complete smile again in just a few weeks with cosmetic dentistry. Columbine Creek Dentistry offers beautiful dental bridges to restore your smile at our office in Littleton.
When you need a tooth repair, you don’t want a reminder left on your teeth in the form of a metal filling. As part of our cosmetic dental treatments at Columbine Creek Dentistry, we have tooth colored composite fillings that blend into your smile. Composite resin can be used to fill cavities or replace metal fillings from previous dental work to give you a completely white smile.
Missing teeth can change your smile and affect your overall health. At Columbine Creek Dentistry, we have options available to replace missing teeth and give you back your complete smile. Our restorative dentistry services give you choices to find the right option to replace your missing teeth.
Removable dentures have been used in one form or another for over a century to replace missing teeth. However, the options available today are much more comfortable and natural than ever before. Columbine Creek Dentistry offers beautiful, modern dentures for our patients that want an affordable restorative dentistry treatment to replace some or all their teeth for a complete smile.
One of the most complete restorative dentistry treatments available combines dental implants and dentures for a natural look and excellent function. Columbine Creek Dentistry offers implant supported dentures for our patients that need a full mouth restoration. This advanced method of dental restoration can give you back a complete smile that stays in place without adhesives. Some of the biggest downfalls of dentures are due to the possible movement while wearing them. Dentures can slip and cause embarrassing moments in social situations. Shifting of the dentures can cause discomfort and it can be difficult to eat certain foods. The adhesives used to hold them in place can be gritty and unpleasant to use. With implant supported dentures, you do not need to worry about adhesives or slipping incidents. The dentures are held in place by dental implants, giving them a secure foothold for more natural function. There are several different options for supported dentures; some are removable while others are permanently secured in place. One of the options we offer at Columbine Creek Dentistry is the popular All-on-4 Dental Implants.
When dental restorations are needed, dental implants offer the most natural and functional results. At Columbine Creek Dentistry, we welcome patients that are looking to restore their smiles and offer dental implant services.
Like natural teeth, dental implants need continuous care and maintenance. While they can last for decades, they can still need repairs. As part of our restorative dental treatments at Columbine Creek Dentistry, we can help care for your dental implants, especially when they need professional repair. Caring for dental implants is similar to the care used for natural teeth. They need to be kept clean and should be inspected with regular checkups at Columbine Creek Dentistry. However, there is a big difference between implants and natural teeth – the lack of nerve roots. When a natural tooth is damaged, you can feel pain or sensitivity. With dental implants, there are no nerves to tell you when something is wrong. This makes regular inspections and checkups at our office extremely important to catch issues before they become larger problems. If there is a problem with your dental implant, we offer solutions at our office in Littleton. We can help you protect your investment in your smile and health to ensure your implants last a lifetime.
Many people have anxiety when they contemplate having dental work performed. Some may even avoid getting the care they need due to this fear or anxiety. At Columbine Creek Dentistry, we want to make dental care comfortable for all our patients. We offer a relaxing atmosphere and a friendly, compassionate team to help put our patients at ease. When that is not enough, we also have sedation dentistry options if you need extra help to relax while we care for your smile
Your children depend on you for everything they need to grow up healthy and that includes caring for their precious smiles. From their first baby tooth at a few months old until they get their last molars or “wisdom teeth” in their late teens or early twenties, their smiles are evolving and need specialized care. At Columbine Creek Dentistry, we feel honored to be chosen to care for the young smiles that come into our office. We take this responsibility seriously and give the best possible dental care treatments to those growing smiles.
When you have unexpected dental problems, you need a dental office that can provide you with emergency dental care. We offer same day appointments and extended hours to handle urgent dental needs at our office in Littleton.
